Jarad comes from several generations of construction professionals in the Baldwin City area.  The Christian family has been located in Baldwin for over 100 years, helping to build the dreams of those in our community and beyond for generations.  After growing up in the construction industry, Jarad entered the roofing and exteriors business as a full time installer in the summer of 2006.  For 7 years Jarad labored for several local contractors learning the skill and precision to be successful.  In 2014 Jarad began working in the estimating and project management side of the business.  This is where Jarad recognized the serious need for quality, ethical, and reliable contractors.  In 2016 Jarad became an independent contractor taking care of estimating and project management for some of the top companies in the state.  In the fall of 2022 Jarad founded Hometown Construction to serve the Baldwin City community that built him, and the surrounding areas.  There has never been a greater need for his skills and dedication to the old fashioned way of doing business.  Doing business dedicated to one project at a time, providing detailed and accurate estimates, equipping clients with the best possible information for the best possible decisions, and putting the personal touch on every project are some of the most important things to him.  By doing these things, Jarad is raising the bar in his own small way to make the construction industry a better place for everyone.  As one of the only real-world, hands-on tradespeople who owns and operates a local roofing and siding company, you can count on him to give you the best possible outcome.  He doesn't just sell these services, this is what he does.
